Expressions of interest are invited for volunteers to join the Executive Committee of the Mount Chamber of Commerce.
The Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce is an incorporated organisation and our role is to grow and support the Mount Gambier business community. The Chamber advocates for our business community at the Federal, State and local levels and supports our businesses through networking events, information sharing and support services. The Chamber provides powerful leadership and considered solutions that support business success.
To ensure a broad cross section of the business community is represented, the Committee is looking to engage enthusiastic individuals who own or operate a business. The Committee are looking for people that live in or have a connection to Mount Gambier and who are connected to the business community. Experience in business development, marketing, events management, corporate governance are highly desirable.
Being a part of the Committee is a commitment of approximately 4 hours a month, or more if events are taking place. The Committee members are committed, collaborative and considerate and most of all, passionate about the success of businesses in our community.
Individuals planning to submit an Expression of Interest for vacant Committee positions should note that they must be financial members of the Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce.
